The King

Description: The abstract painting called “The King” *could* represent man’s dominion and authority over all creation. The background imagery illustrates the masses of humanity in darkness, weak and/or sickly and unremarkable. In contrast, the King confidently holds his head upright, looking directly ahead. The only figure painted in bright colours (primary colours – blue, red, yellow) emphasize his position relative to all others. How do you interpret this painting. Feel free to leave a comment below.
